You smiled as you re-read your post.

"I have tickets for the 2 PM ballet matinee on Saturday. I need a ride, and I will pay $10 an hour and gas. I would like to leave at 10 AM to have lunch before the performance. If you want, I will take my driver to the ballet and lunch as well."

You couldn't deny you were nervous, your friend Hanji bailed last minute leaving you with an extra ticket and no ride. Her final parting was "good luck!"

An hour later, you checked your replies.

    "PM me your address."

How blunt, you thought. You hesitated, worried that they could be a total creep but you decided that beggars can't be choosers and sent the private message.

It was Saturday, and you still had not had a full conversation with your driver. You were nervous as hell, you were wearing what you thought was nice but what if your driver didn't dress up?

   "I'm outside"

You checked your phone, ten on the dot. You rushed outside of your apartment after checking that you had everything. You got to the Impeccably clean car they described and sat in the impeccably clean passenger seat. You took a deep breath before looking towards your driver.

    Oh no.

He was really hot. You couldn't help the blush that spread to your cheeks. He was dressed as nice as you, thankfully.

"Thanks again for driving me, Levi." You said quickly, returning your gaze to the windshield.

"Yeah." He said. Even with that one word you couldn't help but get goosebumps and shiver at his voice. "Are you cold?" Levi asked.

"No! I'm fine." You blurted. Goddammit, you thought, I'm not going to be able to focus with him.

The hour long drive was silent except for the classical music playing through Levi's car speaker. It surprisingly wasn't uncomfortable, except that you were hyper-aware of every movement you made because you didn't want to make a fool of yourself.

"Where do you want to eat?" You asked.

"There's a good cafe across the street from the theatre." Levi said.

"Oh that sounds good, have you been there before?" You ask.

"Yeah, everyday before work." He says.

"Cool," You begin, "Wait, do you live in the city?"

    "Yeah."

"And you drove an hour to get me and an hour back.."

    "Yeah."

"Wow." You sighed and fiddled with your hands. "I can pay you for the drive to get me. I'm sure it was an inconvenience..."

"y/n, Does it look like I need money?" Levi scoffed. "You don't need to pay me at all."

"But... I said in the post that I'd pay."

"Don't worry about it." He said and then smirked. Your heart stopped in your chest for a moment at the breath taking sight. This man was already incredibly attractive with a straight face.

Levi parked, and helped you out of the car despite you insisting you didn't need it. You were surprised at his short stature but you tried not to make any comments about his height, after all you weren't any taller.

He was right, the cafe was good. You both just ordered tea, you were too nervous to eat in front of him anyways.

"Do you come see the ballet often? Since you, you know, live here."

"This is my first time." He replied.

    "Mine too."

Time flew by in the cafe, you both talked (admittedly, you talked more than him) about yourselves and the things you enjoy.

The ballet was more boring than you thought it would be. When you weren't fidgeting endlessly in your chair you were falling asleep against your hand.

Levi noticed and gently grabbed your hand, resting it on the armrest between you two. You became a flustered mess (on the inside you hoped) and found it easier to focus on the heat flowing from his hand than the actual ballet.

It ended sooner than you wanted and Levi's hand was gone as fast as it came. You followed him wordlessly to the car.

    "I had fun." You said.

"Yeah." He responded. You were slightly disappointed by his lack of response but it was easy to hide.

The car ride back was silent as well, you kept wishing in your head that this wouldn't be the last time you saw him.

Before you knew it, you were at your apartment. "Thanks for driving me again." You smiled. You turned towards the door.

"Wait." Levi said. "Can I... get your phone number?"

"Of course!" You said calmly, on the inside you were screaming. This wasn't going to be the last time you saw him. You exchanged phone numbers and wished each other a goodbye before leaving.

You were giddy the whole way up to your apartment. You flopped on your bed and called Hanji.

    "How was it?" Hanji asked.

"You sure weren't missing out on the ballet but you wouldn't believe how hot the guy that drove me was. I even got his phone number." You smiled.

"I knew it would work!" Hanji yelled to someone else, forgetting that you can still hear her.

    "What do you mean?"

"Oh my dear sweet y/n, this was a set up. Shorty is a friend of mine and I knew you two would get along. So I told him to reply to your post and drive you." Hanji giggled.

"I can't even be mad at this point." You sighed.

Your call got interrupted by a text from Levi.

"Are you free tomorrow? I can pick you up again."
